Why PTSD Isn't In Everyone

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a prevalent mental health issue in our world. It is believed that it can effect anyone, however some soldiers who go through an event with others who had gotten PTSD from it do not have the same problem. There have been studies recently showing that your risk of being effected by PTSD personally is determined based on two genes. In other words, the risk percentage is hereditary. Thanks to incredible research, we now know why there are some people with PTSD and some without even though both saw the same event.
