  1. Exercising does helps me with my stress. Now that I'm a junior, I don't exercise as much on the weekdays, but I usually do on the weekends, and I usually feel less stressed on the weekends. I don't think not having exercise is the only reason people are stressed, however. As we learned, stress can be caused by a variety of factors, and not getting enough exercise is just one of them. For me, having time when I tell myself that I can deal with everything around me, like in the shower, is a good way to relieve stress.

  2. I believe that exercising can help relieve stress. Whenever I am stressed I usually go for a run or go to the gym to help clear my mind. I don't believe not exercising is why people are stressed but instead I think it is helpful for getting rid of stress. There are many factors that can make a person stressed. Exercising isn't the only way to relieve stress. You can take a break from your day to relax and watch TV, hangout with friends, or sleep and these can all help reduce stress.

  3. I think I've also definitely noticed that physical activity can reduce my stress levels. One time when I was really angry, I walked around the block seven or eight times and by the time I was done I felt ten times better. I think it's a really good, natural way to let off steam, refocus, and get your thoughts in order.

  4. I most definitely agree with this article. Taking your mind off of daily activities and really focusing on yourself helps relieve stress. That is the way I see it. Being able to perform an exercise task and work on it on your own time is the best way to get away from reality while staying in it at the same time. I tend to go for a run or walk when I feel very overwhelmed and it helps me calm down. I do think this is a great way for most to get the exercise they need as well as a time to recuperate some energy.

  6. I most definitely agree that exercising can help relieve stress. This is true because when I play soccer, which is a sport I enjoy, I let out all my stress and anxiety and feel like I can conquer anything the world "throws" at me. I also agree that not working out can cause stress because every time I'm injured, I get stressed because I'm unable to play the sport I love most. I can't really relieve that stress in any other way. I feel like I'm carrying stress around with me like excess baggage. However, the article does mention going for walks still helps give you that "workout high," which is moderately true, but it's not the same feeling as when you score a goal, make a great pass, or make a great save.

  9. I think exercising helps stress just as any other vice people go to, but I believe exercising is probably the healthiest way. Some people have addictions from how they cope with stress, such as drugs, alcohol, eating, maybe even video games.

  10. It makes perfect scene that exercise is a good stress reviler, but I don't think the lack of it is the main cause of lots of people's stress. In some cases it is, if the reason you are stressed out is because you feel that you are no longer healthy, then it would be the cause of stress in that situation. However I don't think that lack of exercise is the reason you are really stressed about that test tomorrow. Even if the problem is not caused by lack of exercise it can still be a great way to relive stress, much like T.V, games, food, or any other feel good thing is. Just remember like those other things it is great at reliving stress but not removing the source of it all together (unless the source is lack of exercise)
