What Causes Acne

What is acne? Acne appears when a pore in our skin clogs. This clog begins with dead skin cells. Dead skin cells rise to surface of the pore, and the body sheds the cells. When the body starts to make lots of oil to keep the skin from drying out, the dead skin cells can stick together inside the pore. Instead of rising to the surface, the cells become trapped inside the pore. Sometimes bacteria that live on our skin, also get inside the clogged pore. With loads of bacteria inside, the pore becomes inflamed. If the inflammation goes deep into the skin, an acne cyst or nodule appears.

  1. I think acne can usually be treated by staying clean clean and in some cases by using a medication or supplement. To prevent acne I think you should eat less greasy foods and by keeping your face clean.

  2. I think acne can be treated by washing your face when you're in the shower or by seeing a dermatologist. I know for me when I am stressed I don't get ore acne than I already have and I'm pretty sure stress wasn't the cause for my acne because I got it back when I had nothing to stress over.

  3. I think acne can be treated by washing your face and eating healthy. When I have acne I wash my face in the mourning and before bed because you tend to touch your face a lot during the day. I defiantly think stress is a reason for acne. I think people are getting so stressed that they don't have time to was their face because they are so preoccupied with something else.

Stress could be a factor in why we all get acne and we can all prevent acne by staying clean by not touching our faces a lot during the day and cleaning your hand before touching any part of you face. I usually clean my face in the morning and when I get home from school and right before I go to sleep to make sure I get all the dirty off from a whole day.

I think acne can be treated by washing your face every morning and night with soap and if you have really bad acne you should get a specialty medicine to help to combat and treat the acne, I do believe the stress can make acne worse because when I'm stressed I tend to touch my face a lot and that causes oils from my hands to be spread on my face and that can cause more acne.

  7. i think acne should be treated with organic facial scrubs and cleansers. Chemical treatments seem particularly scary, especially if its going on your face. Lush uses all natural ingredients and i would recommend anyone with acne to try one of their face washes.
